Two days ago, I received an email from a reader (hopefully, a reader), and she was asking me what my favorite outfit was. Honestly, I never get questions like this one, because I usually receive questions like “How do I move on, Mary?” or “What is happiness?” or “Who is our boyfriend now?”, so it’s pretty refreshing to get something as fun as this one. And it probably deserves this sole post.
Ages ago, I remember writing about this also. I have never been a fashion freak, but as I grew older, I kinda went with the flow. Of course, the most important thing in what I always wear is comfort. You can never go wrong with comfort. I will never wear something that will make me feel even a tiny bit uncomfortable.
Just recently, a friend told me about this website that sells stuff in wholesale. Yes, you got that right, my friend, in bulk.
I asked, “Why would I want to purchase in bulk?”
“Well, it saves you money. Or… Maybe you have friends who would like to resell?”
“What if I don’t have friends who want to resell?”
“Well, you can buy stuff individually too.”
Okay, so you get the point. I then looked around Kily.PH for stuff, and jeez, they have tons of gorgeous items (which I might be getting soon, I could review them here). They are actually an online wholesale shop with a HUGE market, as they have different products like bags, shirts, dresses, wall decals, lingerie and so much more. And they do call their store a wholesale shop, but shoppers of any kind (even the retail kind, if you know what I mean, wink wink) are welcome.
Setting that aside, my favorite outfit(s) would be a shirt and a pair of shorts or jeans. That’s it. Oh, and a pair of comfortable sneakers. That is how you will usually see me running around, painting the town red (or blue). I know it seems cliché, but as we grow older, you shouldn’t really care about what other people think about you. This is what I always tell my friends, readers, and you know, just about everyone. I know that each one of us goes through that phase in life when everything that the society tells us to do, we do, and everything that we think the society will like, we try, but right now, if you are reading this, I want you to know that you are so much better than that, you have every right to do whatever makes you happy.
So if you’re wondering what you should wear today, you’re going out with friends, or you’re going on a date with someone new, you shouldn’t really worry about it that much. Just go with whatever is comfortable and whatever you think will make you happy. And I better end this now. I am actually checking Kily.PH out for real, everything’s making me happy. Cheers, Kids!
